Agricultural Industry Leader, Mark Linder, Brings Decades of Experience to Agrology’s Advisory Board
Linder brings over 35 years of agriculture industry experience to Climate Tech Start-Up, Agrology, enabling the company to expand their reach
Sonoma, CA, March 23, 2022—Agrology, the leading Predictive Agricultural company and a Public Benefit Corporation, today announced that leading agriculture expert, Mark Linder, has joined the Agrology advisory board. Mr. Linder brings over 35 years of experience serving California and American Agriculture. His extensive and diverse experience and connections will provide the Agrology executive team with next-level strategic guidance and relationship building as the company expands their machine learning (ML) platform.

Mark has assisted numerous businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. He has worked throughout the United States and internationally in the creation and implementation of programs designed to enhance marketing and publicity activities, increase volunteer leadership participation, expand fundraising endeavors, and strengthen organizational/business effectiveness through coalition building and partnerships.

Mark currently serves as the U.S. Agriculture Liaison for The Culinary Institute of America. He previously served as a consultant to American Farm Bureau, Agland Investment Services, Iowa State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, California Center, University of California Davis Graduate School of Management, Harvest Travel International, Global Farmer Network, Agricen, and A Million Cooks. He is the co-founder and was the first President of the Agriculture in the Classroom program, which he helped to establish during his 23 tenure with the California Farm Bureau. Mark is a co-founder and served as President/CEO of Food, Land & People, an educational organization representing diverse sectors of society with the common interest of positive dialogue focused on the interdependence of food production, environmental quality, and the sustainability of human cultures. He is also the founder and CEO of Culinary One Investments, co-founder of Culinary Sciences, and has held senior leadership roles with Aequion Water Technologies.
Mark was instrumental in co-founding and generating financial support for the award-winning America’s Heartland television show, which is aired weekly on RFD TV and public television stations across the United States. Now in its 16th season, America’s Heartland has aired more than 378,000 times on more than 1,000 PBS channels representing 98% of all U.S. TV markets. America’s Heartland YouTube page averages more than 200,00 views per month and AH YouTube videos have been watched 33 million times. Raised on a sixth-generation family farm in Iowa, Mark is a graduate of Iowa State University, a fellow of the California Agricultural Leadership Program and an Agricultural Fellow of the John J. McCloy Fellows Program to Germany.
Mark has been a long-serving advisor to the California Institute of Food & Agricultural Research and served for many years on the Center for Land-Based Learning’s board of directors and the California State Fair’s Agricultural Advisory Board. Mark actively serves on the advisory boards of Rural Development Partners, American Farmland Trust’s California Stewardship Council, St Helena’s Grace Episcopal Church, and UC Davis Olive Center. Mark is recognized for leadership in creating strategic partnerships and has focused his career on the promotion of rural/urban connections. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and is the recipient of state and national awards for his leadership in the field of agricultural literacy education and for his service to colleges and universities along with numerous community, school and church groups and various food and agricultural businesses and educational organizations.
Mark and his wife, Mary, live in California’s Napa Valley.
